About us
HolaSavings is a local guide for Latino families in Southern California: plans for going out, events, places to eat, and deals from local businesses in Los Angeles and Orange County. Everything in Spanish and English, and everything designed to help you go out more and spend less.
Our mission
We don't want any family staying home just because they don't know where to go, or because they think going out always costs a lot. That's why we publish clear, straight-to-the-point guides: what's on, what it costs, what's worth checking before you go, and where to confirm the details.
More moments. Closer to home. That's the idea.
Who is behind this
HolaSavings is a project created by a Latino commercial producer in Los Angeles, who decided to use what he knows — telling stories people actually understand — to help his community discover their city without overspending.
How we verify prices and dates
Before publishing a guide, we check the official source: the business's website, the city's page, or the venue's page. Each guide shows its review date and links the source so you can confirm.
Prices, hours, and promotions can change. That's why every guide asks the same thing: confirm with the official source or call before you go. If we find an important change, we update the guide.
Guides vs. ads: the difference matters
Our guides are independent editorial content: we write them ourselves, with no sponsorship or affiliation, and we only recommend what we think is useful for your plan.
Separately, local businesses can advertise on HolaSavings with their own page and coupons. Pages labeled "Sample" are fictional examples showing what an ad looks like: their promotions are not redeemable and are not our editorial recommendations.

Our images
We label generated illustrative images as such; stock photos are credited in each guide. If an image isn't of the real place, we say so in the caption.
